DENVER — An endangered leopard cub is now on view for Denver Zoo visitors, six weeks after his birth.

The zoo said Thursday the the cub is named Sochi, after the Russian city hosting this year's Winter Olympics.

Sochi is an Amur leopard. The zoo says his species is critically endangered.

He's the 10th Amur leopard born at the zoo since 1989.
