14-year-old boy found safe, says El Paso County Sheriff's Office

Zackery Hedges has been found safe, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said.

He had been missing since Tuesday.

A 14-year-old boy last seen in Colorado Springs has been missing for about two days, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said Thursday.

Zackary Hedges was seen about 4 p.m. Tuesday at Fox Meadow Middle School, 1450 Cheyenne Meadows Road, then later that evening at East Las Vegas Street and South Nevada Avenue, the Sheriff's Office said.

He was wearing a red and black winter coat, a black polo shirt, khakis, black shoes and gold-rimmed glasses.

He is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds.

"We are concerned for his safety," the Sheriff's Office said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 390-5555.
