The k2i STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) Consortium is holding a logo contest for Pikes Peak region middle and high school students.

The group of businesses and educators works together to promote STEM education, from kindergarten to the workforce.

The logo must be an original design, reproducible and scalable from large to small.

A letter with the artist's vision and contact information and a letter from an educator endorsing the project also are required.

Entries are due by 5 p.m. April 30 and may be submitted electronically to mwallace@clccs.org or dropped off at the Challenger Learning Center of Colorado, 10215 Lexington Drive, Suite 110.

Each student may submit two entries. Winners will be announced May 14. First place wins $100, second $75 and third $50.
