Ecumenical Social Ministries opens food pantry to military families during government shutdown

Ecumenical Social Ministries is opening its food pantry to military families regardless of their zip code.

The ministry usually only serves people from nine zip codes in El Paso County.

The food pantry is located at 201 N. Weber Street and open 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Military ID is required. Ecumenical Social Ministries is asking community members to bring food donations to Weber Street entrance between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Financial donations may be made at www.ecusocmin.org/donate.
