About 95 flights have been canceled Tuesday morning at the Denver International Airport because of a blizzard on the East Coast, according to the airport's Twitter page.

Airport officials ask travelers to check their flight status before heading to DIA. Flight information for the Colorado Springs Airport does not show any cancellations or delays Tuesday morning.

According to CNN, more than 7,800 flights Monday through Wednesday were canceled across the country because of weather. A region stretching from Ohio and West Virginia into Maine are under winter storm warnings and watches, CNN reported.
