Bullet holes on the outside of an apartment were the only leads Colorado Springs police had after several residents reported hearing shots fired Monday morning.

According to police, officers responded to calls of shots fired at the Tanager Meadows Apartments, near Fountain Boulevard and Murray Boulevard, around 3 a.m.

The apartment on 1440 Michelle Ct. had several bullet holes in it, but there were no injuries reported, police said.

Anyone with information can call 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
