This Valentine's Day, Dutch Bros. Coffee locations in Colorado Springs are offering a free drink of any size in exchange for three nonperishable food items to help the Springs Rescue Mission fight hunger.

It's Dutch Luv Day, an annual event in which Dutch Bros. partners with local food banks across seven states.

"It's our privilege to use Dutch Bros. as a force for good and help feed local families," said Dutch Bros. Coffee Co-Founder Travis Boersma.

Last year's Dutch Luv Day resulted in 1,510 pounds of canned food raised locally and 205,322 pounds raised company-wide.

Dutch Bros. Coffee donates over $1 million every year to nonprofit organizations and causes, in an effort to achieve its goal of, "Making a difference, one cup at a time."
