A man was served and released on suspicion of third-degree assault and indecent exposure after police found him with his pants down around his ankles Wednesday afternoon in downtown Colorado Springs, said police spokesman Lt. Howard Black.

The man, whose name had not been released, was "taunting" people and acting aggressively near the corner of East Pikes Peak Avenue and Tejon Street shortly after 3 p.m., Black said. He allegedly hit a man in the face.
