Deja vu: In this file photo from June 2009, Zeezo's employee Libby Deaton packed boxes in preparation for a move from its shop at 3 E. Bijou Street to 104 N. Tejon. Four years later, Zeezo's is moving again, just a few doors north.

Zeezo's, the popular magic and costume shop in downtown Colorado Springs, is on the move for the second time in four years - this time, just a few doors north of its current location.

The year-round costume and make-up shop is moving to 112 and 114 N. Tejon St. from 104 N. Tejon to increase its retail space.

"The move immediately doubles our sales floor space, and we will open the basement in a couple years after we put in an elevator," said Jessica Modeer, who, with husband Mark Modeer, owns the shop.

In 2009, Zeezo's moved to Tejon Street from a space at 3 E. Bijou Street because the rent was more favorable, the space better and the foot traffic higher.

The Modeers hope to open their new location during the week of Oct. 10, Jessica Modeer said Monday.
