WAILUKU, Hawaii (AP) — A double-decker bus is joining Maui's public bus fleet.
The double-decker bus goes into service Saturday.
The county says the bus was purchased used for about $380,000. It can transport 90 passengers — double the amount of a regular bus.
Its capacity will allow the bus to service the Kihei Islander No. 2 route, which has a large number of residents and tourists who use it daily to travel between central and south Maui.
