DOG DAYS OF SUMMER PICK

Paws to Read

Bring your children to a Paws to Read session, where they get to practice reading out loud to a dog. Seriously, why has nobody asked me to volunteer yet? I am a fantastic listener, and kids love my goodlooking mug. Little kids might have an easier, less self-conscious time reading to us dogs than humans. We're way less judgemental. Mostly we just want to be around you. There are multiple reading sessions during the week at Pikes Peak Library District locations. Details: 531-6333, ppld.org:8080/Kids/Events/pawstoread.asp.
