Denver's Brown Palace Hotel up for sale

The investment group that owns the Brown Palace Hotel has put the landmark property on the market after holding it for three decades.

"If you think about having ownership for 30 years, that is a long time," said hotel general manager Marcel Pitton.

Pitton said the investment group - which includes the hotel's management company, Quorum Hotel and Resorts - had decided that the investment had run its course.

"They decided now is the time," he said.
