Denver police: Baby burned when carseat left on stovetop

An infant suffered serious burns Thursday after a caretaker set the child in a carseat atop a stove inside a Montbello home, Denver police said.

Police believe the caretaker was tending to other children when the carseat caught fire, burning the baby over 15 percent of its body, according to police.
