Howard A. Merrick

Born Sept. 12, 1935.

Died Sept. 21, 2017.

U.S. Navy veteran, retired machinist, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Donna Jo; two sons, Mike and Tom; a daughter, Michelle; three stepsons, Gene, Jim and Tom; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Senior Master Sgt. Billy Taylor Mitchell

Born May 22, 1937.

Died Sept. 21, 2017.

Operations administrator, retired U.S. Air Force, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Cora; two daughters, Gayle Landrum-Montgomery and Donna Carns Archuletta; two sisters, Mary Charlotte Rosson and Willie Sue Crimm; and six grandchildren. David T. Prather
