Electrician, U.S. Navy Veteran, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by a daughter, Amber; a brother, Joseph; and three sisters, Nancy Castle, Linda Nichols and Laura Zamora. Memorial service, 4:30 p.m. Oct. 1, Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel. Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, Mausoleum and Crematory.

Betty Jo Davis

Born Aug. 10, 1923.

Died Sept. 22, 2013.

Bookkeeper, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by a son, Bill Case; and two daughters, Gale Bunker and Kellie Case. Blunt Mortuary.

Thelma Folmer

Born Sept. 24, 1915.

Died Sept. 25, 2013.

Commercial artist, 17-year Colorado Springs resident. Survived by her nephews, Glen and John McGuire; and nieces, Jeanne Thompson and Jill Nauman. Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, Mausoleum and Crematory.

Geraldine Simmons

Born March 9, 1927.

Died Sept. 26, 2013.

Homemaker, 45-year Colorado Springs resident. Survived by a son, William Lee "Bill;" a brother, Hubert Champine; a sister, Dolores Buckman; and one granddaughter. Visitation, 1 to 2 p.m. with service to follow Oct. 4, Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery, reception to follow at Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center. Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, Mausoleum and Crematory.
