Retired, command sergeant major U.S. Army, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Era Belford; a son, Timothy Belford; a daughter, Nichole M. Belford; two stepsons, Anthony Gaines and George Fedrick; a stepdaughter, Melissa Robinson; and four sisters, Betty Jo Scott, Patsy Gibson, Elmira Moore and Helen Gibson. Brigitte E. Bunevich

Born Dec. 21, 1932.

Died Sept. 28, 2017.
