Died Oct. 10, 2013.

Cardiac sonographer and professional drummer, 16-year Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Jonna; a son, Thomas Eaves; a daughter, Kathryn Stelljes; two stepsons, Matthew and Andrew Gress; and four grandchildren. Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, Mausoleum and Crematory.

R. Alan buehler

Born Nov. 6, 1949.

Died Oct. 8, 2013.

State Farm insurance agent, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Sally; a son, Scott; and a daughter, Lindsey Wahl. Memorial service, 3 p.m. Oct. 17, First United Methodist Church, 420 N. Nevada Ave. Swan-Law Funeral Directors.

Bernice J. Cowart

Born Dec. 1, 1926.

Died Oct. 11, 2013.

Sales representative, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by two sons, Mark and Richard E. Jr.; a daughter, Shirley Callaway; two sisters, Charlene Broome and LaVern Cockerham; and seven grandchildren. Service, 10:30 a.m. Oct. 15, Church for All Nations, 6540 Templeton Gap Road. Private interment, Evergreen Cemetery. The Springs Funeral Services.

Lola alice Johnson

Born May 27, 1927.

Died Oct. 7, 2013.

Homemaker, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by her husband, William; and two sons, Daniel and Roger. Blunt Mortuary.
