Founder of The Home Front Cares nonprofit, served in the U.S. Air Force, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Mary; and two daughters, Melanie Carlone and Leeza Steindorf. Jeffrey M. Eichengreen

Born Feb. 23, 1943. Died July 2, 2013.
