Born Nov. 25, 1926. Died June 7, 2013.

Educator at Air Force, former Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Nila; a son; three daughters; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Celebration of life, Sept. 14, VFW Enlisted Association, 834 Emory Circle.

Richard Mark Luna

Born May 23, 1954. Died Aug. 27, 2013.

Construction laborer, served in U.S. Army, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Beatrice. The Springs Funeral Services.Anne Marie "Annette" Niswonger

Born April 8, 1941. Died Aug. 28, 2013.

Business owner of Patsy's Candies, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by her husband, Wesley S.; two sons, Si and Michael; and a daughter, Christine Farrell. Memorial service, 11 a.m. Aug. 31, Fellowship of the Rockies, 1625 S. 8th St. Swan-Law Funeral Directors.

Janis Ozolins

Born Jan. 22, 1927. Died Aug. 23, 2013.

U.S. Army, retired, 38-year Colorado Springs resident. Survived by four daughters, Veronika Davidson, Anita Rosen, Loreen Ozolins and Jennifer Young. Service, 2 p.m. Sept. 3, Soldiers' Memorial Chapel, 633 Martinez St., Fort Carson. Private interment, Fort Logan National Cemetery. Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, Mausoleum and Crematory.

Francis "Frank" Joseph Sanborn

Born May 18, 1935. Died Aug. 27, 2013.

Contractor, lifelong Colorado Springs resident. Survived by a son, Donald; and a daughter, Laurie. Service, 10 a.m. Sept. 4, Church of the Wildwood, Green Mountain Falls, 10585 Ute Pass Ave. Cappadona Funeral Home.
