Memorial service 2 p.m., Aug. 24 at Faith Evangelical Free Church, 6065 Oakwood Boulevard. Inurnment at Fort Logan Nation Cemetery. Advantage Funeral Home

Malcolm B. Nixon

Born Feb. 17, 1937.

Died Aug. 11, 2013.

Telephone technician for U.S. Army, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Rebecca; a son, Michael; two daughters, Urasla and Anna; a stepson, Cecil Copeland; and four stepdaughters, Linda McCarty, Georgia Ernest, Cheryl and Barbie Copeland. Graveside services, 1 p.m. Aug. 22, Fort Logan National Cemetery. Inurnment. Front Range Crematory.
