WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. police are looking for a missing 7-year-old autistic boy who may need medical attention.
Katrina Kingsbury says her son, Michael, was last seen Sunday morning in the alley near their home in the 1700 block of West Virginia Avenue northeast.
Michael Kingsbury is described as black with his hair in dreadlocks, approximately 4 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 60 pounds. He was last seen wearing only a diaper. Katrina Kingsbury says it's not like her son to wander away.
Police had not found the boy as of Monday evening even though officers canvassed the neighborhood and interviewed local registered sex offenders. Officers had earlier searched abandoned buildings and sheds.
Anyone with information about the Michael Kingsbury's whereabouts is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or 911.
