SALIDA - The district attorney for Salida has ruled that law officers who shot and killed a 36-year-old parolee in May were justified in using deadly force.
Thom LeDoux called the actions of the officers heroic after they killed Theodore Vanosdall after he fired at the officers.
According to the Pueblo Chieftain (http://tinyurl.com/mcqs2nf ), the Colorado Bureau of Investigation determined that three shots were fired through the front window of the home at a police officer who was trying to take cover.
