A basketball benefit to raise money for Academy School District 20 families affected by the Black Forest Fire will be held Thursday night.

The first of three games, featuring Air Academy vs. Aspen Valley high schools, starts at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Discovery Canyon Campus, 810 North Gate Blvd.

The second game, Rampart vs. Pine Creek high schools, will be at 7:30 p.m. The last game is Discovery Canyon vs. Liberty high schools, starting at 8:30 p.m.

The games will be unconventional - fans will be able to purchase perks and disadvantages for their teams in an attempt to raise as much money as possible.

Gate admission is $3.
