Candidates for Colorado Springs School District 11's board of education will answer questions at a forum 6 p.m. Thursday at the Penrose Library, 20 N. Cascade Ave., in the Carnegie Room.
The event is being hosted by the Colorado Springs branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
Six candidates are vying for three seats on the Nov. 5 ballot. Incumbents Al Loma and LuAnn Long are in the running against Charlie Bobbitt, Jim Mason, Linda Mojer and James Tucker.
The event is open to the public, and the local branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People encourages anyone interested to attend.
