BOULDER — University of Colorado football players decided to help feed rescuers and families displaced by flooding after their football game was canceled on Saturday.

The team was supposed to play Fresno State at Folsom Field, but when historic rains led to massive flooding around Boulder, the school postponed the game and the athletic department teamed up to serve food to flood victims and first responders at the stadium instead.

According to the Boulder Daily Camera (http://tinyurl.com/ny6qpgn ), the players and coaches helped serve hamburgers, hotdogs, brats, cookies, chips and other game day fare to about 800 people.
