Colorado Springs woman suspected of stabbing teenage niece

A teenage girl suffered a minor stab wound Sunday night during a family disturbance at a northeast Colorado Springs home, Colorado Springs police said.

According to police, Alkeesha Foster was arguing with her niece about 9:20 p.m. and allegedly stabbed the girl with a knife, then fled the home on the 6400 block of Maroon Mesa Drive, off Vickers and Rangewood roads.

The teen was treated at a hosptial for a minor stab wound and released, police said.

Police had no more information about Foster, who is being sought in the incident.
