The 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office announced Friday that Sandra Marion Barajas, 53, was found guilty of conspiracy to commit first degree murder and accessory to murder.

Last February, her husband, Miguel Barajas, a Security-Widefield mechanic, was found shot to death in the bedroom of his home in the 100 block of Judson Street after an apparent break-in, which investigators later determined was staged, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said.

Barajas' daughter, Dawn Richburg, 34, and a male acquaintance of the women, Tommy Wright, who later admitted to shooting the mechanic, were all arrested in connection with the murder, authorities said.
