Colorado Springs woman dies in crash near Hartsel

A Colorado Springs woman died Saturday om a one-vehicle crash three miles north of Hartsel, according to Colorado State Patrol.

Sonia Seremet, 37, was a passenger in a vehicle that drifted off Colorado Highway 9 and rolled, according state patrol. Seremet was ejected from the vehicle. She was airlifted to St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver, where she died. The crash was reported at 4:39 p.m.

The driver, Eric Seremet, 43, and two children were taken to Pikes Peak Regional Hospital in Woodland Park, and later flown to St. Anthony. The conditions of Eric Seremet and the children are not known.

The Seremets' vehicle was northbound on Highway 9 when it drifted off the right side, and when the driver over-corrected the vehicle went across both the northbound and southbound lanes, into the ditch and rolled twice. The vehicle hit three fences before coming to a stop on its wheels.
