The Colorado Springs Water Resources Engineering Division will participate in the Arkansas River Basin Water Forum from 2:20 to 3:15 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The forum will take place at the Hotel Elegante at 2886 South Circle Drive. As part of the forum's goal to create a greater understanding of Colorado water law, panel sessions will feature various local stakeholders. Moderated by former City Councilwoman, Brandi Williams, both day's panel topics will range from conservation to recreation.

Along with these panels, Wednesday's agenda will feature a tour of the Camp Creek stabilization project from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. This tour will highlight past and ongoing work designed to reduce flooding along Camp Creek. The forum will also offer walking tours of Manitou Springs' mineral springs and wildfire prevention and restoration projects, as well as a bicycle ride around the Legacy Loop.
