Colorado Springs scored in six of its eight innings at-bat to romp over the visiting Memphis Redbirds 14-4 on Tuesday for its fifth straight victory.

The Sky Sox (8-3) were ignited by leadoff hitter Lewis Brinson who was 4 for 6 with a home run, double and five RBIs. Ivan De Jesus Jr. had three hits and three runs and there was plenty more offense to spread around.

Starter Pablo Espino moved to 2-0 on the season by going 51/3 innings and allowing four earned runs. Four relievers threw blanks.
