Colorado Springs shooting leaves woman in critical condition

An adult woman was taken to a local hospital and is in critical and stable condition after a shooting early Saturday, according to Colorado Springs police.

The shooting occurred at about 12:50 a.m. in the 3200 block of Tail Spin Drive.

Police found several people in the area when they responded to a report of a shooting.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes section responded and the investigation is continuing.
