Gazette Premium Content COLORADO SPRINGS ROAD TRIP: 2 Mile High Club's Aspen Tours

By Linda Navarro Updated: September 22, 2013 at 3:06 pm

9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and Sept. 28-29, free; 689-2634, visitcripplecreek.com

Bring your cameras and all your oohs and ahs for what's anticipated to be a spectacular year for mountainsides covered by golden aspens.

Tours are first come, first served, with no reservations. There's no charge, but donations will go to help care for those precocious donkeys roaming - and ruling - the Cripple Creek streets.

Meet the fall-color tour drivers at the Cripple Creek District Museum, 510 Bennett Drive, and if you want to be on the first tour, at 9:30 a.m., it's recommended you arrive 30-45 minutes early.
