A notorious Colorado Springs revenge-shooter's convictions were upheld Thursday by the state Court of Appeals, the 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office announced.
A jury found Bruce Joseph Nozolino, 56, guilty in March 2014 of first degree murder and 13 counts of attempted first-degree murder, the Court of Appeals' decision says. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole, plus 288 years.
Nozolino, a former defense contractor, targeted adversaries in what has been described as the most contentious divorce ever in El Paso County, using a sniper rifle to kill his ex-wife's former lover in 2008, wound her divorce lawyer in the eye in 2002 and shoot into the homes of the lawyer and a judge in 2001.
