Colorado Springs police are asking for the public's help to identify a man they say threatened employees at a Sprint store and stole merchandise.

Detectives believe the man could be linked to a string of robberies targeting cell phone and electronic stores, with the most recent one happening Sunday at the Office Max on 3826 Bloomington St., off North Powers Boulevard and North Carefree Circle.

Last month, the same man allegedly walked into the Sprint store at 1976 South Murray Blvd. March 19, about 7 p.m., threatened employees and stole several cell phones, according to a statement released by police Wednesday.

Three days later, the Radio Shack on 406 South 8th St. was robbed by the same man, police said.

According to police, the man has a tattoo behind his left ear.

Anyone with information can call police at 444-7000, or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP(7867).
