Colorado Springs police are searching for a man they say stabbed a 27-year-old victim, inflicting serious injuries to the person's chest and face.

Officers found the victim around 12:40 a.m. Wednesday, in a residence on the 4200 block of Crowells Mill Square, off south Murray Boulevard. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening wounds.

Several officers, including a K-9 unit, searched the area for the suspect but were unable to find him.

Anyone with information can call police at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
