Colorado Springs police were searching for a man who robbed a Home Depot store at 7120 N. Academy Blvd. at gunpoint just before 8 p.m. Saturday.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-7-inch man wearing a black shirt, black pants, gray hat and gray jacket. He took a cash drawer from the store and put it in a black-and-gray duffel bag before pleeing on foot, according to police.

A K-9 team was called to assist in the search.
