Bullet holes in a car and the exterior wall of a house were the only leads Colorado Springs Police had Tuesday morning following reports of shots fired at The Pinons Apartments.

Officers responded to a disturbance at 3603 Airport Rd. around 2:15 a.m. when gunshots were heard. Reports indicated three men were assaulting a woman in a white vehicle at the parking lot, police said.

Officers did not find the victim or the three men involved in the alleged incident. One vehicle was located with two bullet holes in it and a third bullet hole was spotted on the exterior of a house south of the parking lot.

No injuries were reported in the house or in the apartment complex, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 444-7000 or Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP (7867).
