Colorado Springs Police are searching for a suspect they said robbed the Smoker Friendly store at gun point Sunday afternoon.

The robber pulled a pistol inside the store at 1437 N. Circle Dr. and demanded cash from the clerk, who emptied the register, police said. The robber fled the store on foot, running south through a parking lot and getting into a newer model red pickup. Police searched the area around 5:42 p.m., but did not find the robber.

Police described the robber as a man wearing a black and silver shirt, blue jeans, white pants and a white baseball cap.
