Four men were arrested Thursday on suspicion of running an unlicensed medical marijuana business that shipped to out-of-state clients, according to Colorado Springs police.

The business, Room to Grow, was the target of an August Metro Vice, Narcotics and Intelligence Division sting, where undercover officers bought marijuana from the business, police said. Police received three pounds of marijuana and 1.6 grams of oxycodone in the transaction.

Joshua Heney, Brandon Beene, Bradly Sweany, and Justin Sargent were all arrested on suspicion of selling marijuana.

Police said that trafficking illegal marijuana out of state is a trend, and the drug is typically sold to Kansas, New York, Tennessee, Florida, and Illinois.
