Vinnie Persichetti has joined the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce & EDC as director of cybersecurity programs.

The position was added to work with Pikes Peak Community College to develop a military separation skills inventory and analysis that will be part of a regional cybersecurity strategic plan.

The program is funded through a nearly $1 million grant the college received from the Department of Defense Office of Economic Adjustment.

Persichetti retired as a chief master sergeant after 30 years in the Air Force, including the last 11 years in the Colorado Springs area. His final assignment was as superintendent of the 21st Mission Support Group.
