Colorado Springs police are looking for a man who allegedly stabbed another man several times in the face, neck and chest Saturday.

According to a police report, the stabbing took place at 12:40 a.m. at the intersection of Harrison Road and Rand Avenue.

A fight broke out between between two males who were occupants of two vehicles stopped at the intersection. One of them pulled out a knife and "the victim was struck multiple times in the face, neck and chest, causing potentially life-threatening injuries," police said.

When the victim's wife tried to help her husband, she was stabbed in the arm.

The suspect was driving a dark-colored Land Rover.

The victim was treated at a local hospital where he is in stable, but critical condition, police said.
