Colorado Springs man arrested after stabbing roommate

A 47-year-old man was arrested early Friday morning after allegedly stabbing his roommate in the leg.

Colorado Springs police went to the 1300 block of Shasta Drive shortly before 4:30 a.m. to investigate a disturbance. When officers arrived they found two men living in the house had been fighting and one of them had what appeared to be a knife wound in the leg.

Douglas Wilcox was taken into custody for allegedly stabbing the other man, who was takien to an local hospital with minor injuries. Wilcox is being held at the El Paso County jail on suspicion of second-degree assault.
