An arrest warrant naming Mayes as the suspect in Aguilar's murder was issued by police Aug. 16, stating she was considered armed and dangerous.

Aguilar, 24, was found shot to death in an apartment at 231 University Drive, the 19th homicide of 2013 in Colorado Springs this year.
