Police are looking for three men who broke into a home in northwest Colorado Springs and robbed a surprised homeowner at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.

The three robbers, who appeared to be in their 20s, got into the home in the 3300 block of Angelstone Point in Peregrine near Blodgett Peak Open Space through an unlocked door.

The surprised homeowner told police the men stole unspecified items from inside.

"They had the guns pointed at him, at least one of them did," police Sgt. K. Haug said.

Haug said the homeowner was unable to get a good description of the robbers.

"I think there was some, I don't want to say fear, but surprise, and that memory may come back a little later," she said.
