Colorado Springs police are on the lookout for an armed robber who stole cash and lottery tickets from a gas station off South Circle Drive on Wednesday night.

The clerk at the Diamond Shamrock, 2709 Arlington Dr., told police a man wearing a red bandana over his face walked into the gas station shortly after 9:30 p.m., holding a silver handgun. The man demanded money from the register and lottery tickets, police said. No one was injured.

After getting an undetermined amount of cash and lottery tickets, the man fled on foot. Police and K-9 units searched the area but did not find the robber.

Anyone with information can call police at 444-7000.
