Colorado Springs will not see much relief from scorching temperatures as the weekend approaches.
Temperatures in Colorado Springs are expected to reach a high of 91 degrees Thursday, the National Weather Service in Pueblo reported. Chances of rain are not likely, according to Gazette news partner KKTV.
Thursday’s high is above Colorado Springs’ average of 76 degrees for this time of year, but it is not expected to beat the 2010 record of 97 degrees, the weather service reported.
Weekend temperatures are expected to stay in the low 90s, with anticipated highs of 91, 90 and 93 forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
