Hot and dry.

That theme continues with Saturday's Colorado Springs-area forecast from the National Weather Service in Pueblo.

A high temperature of 92 - about 15 degrees above average - with sunny skies is forecast Saturday for Colorado Springs, with an overnight low of 58. The record high for June 9 is 95, set in 1981.

Expect a high of of 93 with mostly sunny conditions Sunday before a slight dip Monday to a forecast high of 83.

The weather service has issued a red flag warning due to high fire danger in the San Luis Valley for Saturday, with Colorado Springs and most of southeastern Colorado in a red flag warning Sunday.

No precipitation is in the forecast through Wednesday.
