IDAHO SPRINGS — The search area for a father and son from Minnesota missing near Mount Evans west of Denver has been narrowed using signals from their cellphones.

Alpine Rescue Team spokesman Bill Barwick said Wednesday dozens of searchers are going back into the mountains after investigators were able to trace calls made when one of the men called a friend to tell them they planned to hike a mountain.

Barwick says relatives of the two men are now in Colorado, but they can't help search because of dangerous conditions.

Authorities say 51-year-old Damian McManus and 19-year-old Evan McManus, who are from St. Louis Park, Minn., were last heard from on April 2.

Barwick says searchers aren't sure the father and son were equipped for wintry conditions in the Rocky Mountains.
