GLENWOOD SPRINGS — A man charged with robbing a western Colorado bank is also suspected in holdups in Florida and Texas.

Jack Lee Wright of Fort Lauderdale, Florida was arrested in Maryland in mid-July, accused of taking nearly $19,000 from the Alpine Bank in Glenwood Springs, Colorado on June 30. Investigators say his only attempt to disguise himself was wearing baseball cap.

The Glenwood Springs Post Independent (http://bit.ly/1un23wA ) reported Tuesday that federal court documents say Wright is also suspected of robbing banks in Gainesville, Florida in April and San Antonio, Texas.

Wright was identified as the suspect in the Colorado hold up after workers at a Rifle motel reported he left without paying on July 1. The motel shared a copy of his driver's license and surveillance video of his truck.
