BOULDER — A Longmont youth pastor accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a church member starting when she was 15 has pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of children and stalking.
The Boulder Daily Camera (http://bit.ly/1n5oXHH ) reported Friday that 35-year-old Jason Roberson pleaded guilty last week under a deal with prosecutors. Other charges against him, including sexual assault and unlawful sexual contact, have been dropped.
Roberson could face more than a decade in prison when he's sentenced July 18.
VineLife Church officials said it a statement that they hoped the deal would bring closure but didn't address whether Roberson still works there.
The alleged victim is now 25. Last year, she told police about the relationship, which she said continued for seven years. She is also suing Roberson and the church.
